Following the success of the free service package introduced last year for fleet customersı of the S40 saloon and V50 sportswagon, Volvo Car UK is now introducing the same 3 year/60,000 miles free service plan for its flagship XC90². The free service plan³ has proved a huge hit with both larger fleets and small businesses, which John Wallace, Volvo's leasing and rental manager explains is because of the valuable benefits it offers:
"Volvo's free service package is successful because it's easy to operate and manage and the cars are automatically enrolled by Volvo. Another key benefit is that service mileage information is available to allow fleet managers to track the car through its operating period.
"In addition, as the service plan ensures the car is serviced by Volvo authorised technicians using genuine Volvo parts and is transferable with the sale of the vehicle, fleet and leasing companies also enjoy healthier residual values when the cars are de-fleeted," he continued.
Volvo's latest contract hire rates for the XC90 for business users start from £399 per month4 (excluding the free service package).
